Prof. Konstantinos Kyriakopoulos holds a B.Sc. in Mathematics from the University of Athens, an M.B.A. and Ph.D. in Quantitative Finance from Imperial College London and an LL.B. from the Open University/University of Law, UK.
He has worked for many years for various securities firms and investment banks in Greece and Europe, holding managerial positions in derivatives trading and capital markets.
He has also worked as a consultant for risk management and algorithmic trading for various hedge funds. He teaches subjects related to economics, finance and insurance in graduate and postgraduate courses in Universities and Colleges.
He is a senior finance expert in the Technical Assistance of the European Union for the Ministry of Finance of Moldova and he conducts financial research for the European Central Bank. He has an extensive experience as a technical expert in complex cases related to economic crime.
